Whitehall City Schools teacher and gifted intervention specialist, I taught 4th and 5th grade at Beechwood Elementary at Beechwood I
started Project Looping a 4-5 looping program. I then taught 6th grade at Rosemore Middle School and now I am proud to be part of the Etna Rd. Elementary staff. I have worked with gifted students as a regular classroom teacher and as a gifted intervention specialist. I am extremely dedicated and care greatly for you and your children.
My Educational background starts at Kent State University, Graduating with Honors. There I studied an additional year by participating in the Akron Internship Program. This involved 33 weeks of intensive training of teaching methods plus student teaching for 32 weeks in 3 urban settings. My graduate course work was through Marygrove College with a Master's in the Art of Teaching and graduating with a 4.0. Continuing with HQ (Highly Qualified) training to teach gifted. I continued with Post Graduate course work at Ashland University, in teaching gifted and talented students.
